Sea Salt Caramel by Bohoboco Perfume 50ml EDP

HOW DID WE GET HERE?

I had the privilege of meeting the creative director of Bohoboco, Michal Gilbert Lach, at Esxence 2023. I had the opportunity to explore the entire range and the purple hue of this fragrance spoke to me.

HOW DOES THIS FRAGRANCE MAKE ME FEEL?

Many of us have dreams that we struggle to remember the next morning. But the creator of this fragrance must wake up and remember each of his dreams in vivid detail. It’s the only explanation I can give to explain how has been able to capture sacred memories so accurately through his fragrances. This perfume is like the scent of my childhood subconscious, and it feels like the pink pepper and brown sugar notes have been specifically designed to trigger memories from my past. It evokes young memories that were greatly treasured but long forgotten, until now. However, this is not the fragrance of an ingénue. The jasmine, seaweed and cedarwood notes within the composition firmly anchor it in the present. It is almost as if it wishes suggest that the nostalgia of childhood and the wisdom of adulthood can harmoniously coexist within the same entity.

RATING

4 – Don’t MIST Out: If you are even remotely a fan of gourmand fragrances then you need to get your nose on this scent. Wearing this scent is a pleasurable experience and it reminds me of just how much fun fragrance can be.
