HOW DID WE GET HERE?

A friend told me that she thought I would love this because of the listed notes. So I decided to make a blind-buy purchase.

HOW DOES THIS FRAGRANCE MAKE ME FEEL?

To put it simply, this smells like your inebriated great aunt at Christmas who has bourbon as her drink of choice. This scent confuses me because it has a niche quality that I would NEVER expect from the house of Elizabeth Arden. I was not a big fan of this fragrance by itself, but it is an absolute delight when mixed with “Wild Vanilla Orchid” by Floral Street.

2 – MISTake: I absolutely adore this as it is part of one of my favourite fragrance layering combinations. But if I have to assess this fragrance by itself? I just cannot justify giving this a good rating. It is a fragrance that I would only ever wear indoors, I would not be thrilled if people thought that this scent was a good representation of my personality.
