HOW DID WE GET HERE?

The first time that I experienced this fragrance was at the Jovoy Mayfair boutique in November last year. Jovoy Paris had a stand at Esxence in Milan this year and the owner and artistic director, François, was kind enough to gift me a bottle of this fragrance.

HOW DOES THIS FRAGRANCE MAKE ME FEEL?

Ladies and gentlemen, I present to you a fragrance that completely personifies the word “sillage”. This scent oozes sensuality and the brown sugar and vanilla notes create a scent bubble that could seep through the gaps of any closed door before quickly infiltrating the entire room. It may be called “Fire At Will” but this is no naked flame. This is a methane fire: invisible to the naked eye, hard to extinguish, and devastatingly dangerous. This is exactly the type of fragrance I could imagine Mata Hari spraying all over her garments before stepping out to seduce her willing but oblivious targets.

5 – A Life of Matrimonial MIST: I’ve already warned my mother that if I ever approach her with an unexpected pregnancy announcement she should know that this fragrance was the cause. It’s an absolutely stunning piece of fragrance artistry that I believe every woman should own.
