HOW DID WE GET HERE?

I was browsing the perfume hall in Harrods and decided to buy a BDK Parfums travel set. I initially bought the set because it included “Rouge Smoking”. Little did I know that Gris Charnel would end up being the scent that won my heart. I finished half of the 10ml vial in less than 2 weeks. It is rare that I find myself reaching for the same fragrance several days in a row. So I knew it was inevitable that I would end up committing to a full bottle.

HOW DOES THIS FRAGRANCE MAKE ME FEEL?

I live in London and to call the climate here “consistently miserable” would be an understatement. Gris Charnel is the only fragrance that can compete with the torrential rainy days and WIN! Wearing this scent is the olfactory equivalent of walking in the direction of the wind instead of trying to walk against it. It seems to complement even the most antagonistic and moody of weather conditions. It’s the cosy, full-knit jumper that does its best to keep you warm in the cold.

5 – A Life of Matrimonial MIST: This fragrance is my defender against a bad mood on a rainy day. It never fails to uplift my spirits no matter how dreary it is outside. This is not an easy feat so for that reason alone, it has my lifetime loyalty.
