HOW DID WE GET HERE?

I was wandering through Covent Garden in London and I noticed Floral Street’s very colourful boutique. As they are one of the few British-owned perfume brands I was also curious to see what they had to offer. The lady at the boutique was very helpful and she helped me to narrow down my choice. I was in the middle of a one month “no-buy” so I had to wait 2 weeks before I could pull the trigger and make this purchase.

HOW DOES THIS FRAGRANCE MAKE ME FEEL?

This is a nauseatingly sweet vanilla. Anything green about this vanilla has long left the building. This fragrance has a ripeness to it, as I associate it with the level of sweetness you’d find if you ate a banana or similar fruit just before it was about to turn. I do not enjoy this fragrance on it’s own. However, when I mix it with something very boozy like Elizabeth Arden 5th Avenue Royale it becomes absolutely irresistible!

3 – MIST Opportunity: Although this is a delicious gourmand it can smell like too much of a good thing as the vanilla can overwhelm. I am very happy to have it in my collection as I love the layering combination that I have created with it. However, I do not think I would repurchase this once this bottle is finished.
