“Libre Intense” by YSL 50ml EDP

HOW DID WE GET HERE?

I smelt the original Libre and was very underwhelmed. I didn’t have high expectations for the Intense version but was pleasantly surprised by this flanker. This is the fragrance that taught me that I will usually prefer the intense version of a scent so I usually hold out for that release before committing to a purchase.

HOW DOES THIS SMELL MAKE ME FEEL?

I was delightfully surprised by the amount of lavender that is in this scent. There is something delightful about the strong floral note in a fragrance that looks so boozy and ambery. This lavender note serves as the fragrance equivalent of a character plot twist in a movie where you discover that that seemingly strong character has a softer side. This is the fragrance I wear to let my brain know that fall has officially begun.

4 – Don’t MIST Out: This scent is an easy-reach fragrance to wear on a date night in the fall or winter. It is an assertive fragrance that will take up space in a room without overwhelming everyone else.
